intro
Wattify manages charge points for electric cars: the platform connects your charge point to the internet, records every charging session, settles it with whoever charged and pays you out. This manual explains how to work with it.
Where you come across Wattify
| Place | Address | What for |
|---|---|---|
| The portal | mijn.wattify.be | Managing your charge sites, charge points, charge cards, charging sessions, invoices and payouts. If you get Wattify through a reseller, the portal may run on their address; it works the same way. |
| The Wattify app | App Store and Google Play | For drivers: finding charge points, starting a session and viewing invoices. |
| The QR page on the charge point | the QR code on the charge point | For passers-by without a charge card: charge and pay straight away. |
| The FAQ | wattify.be/faq | Background on prices, taxation, hardware and roaming. |
Who this manual is for
- Owners of a charge site: a company, a shop or a private individual with a charge point that is used by others.
- Employers and employees who settle home charging of a company car through split billing.
- Managing agents, owners' associations and residents of an apartment building with shared charge points.
- Resellers and installers who set up and manage charge sites for their customers.
What you see in the portal depends on your type of account. See Who sees what: accounts, organisations and access.
How to use this manual
- On the left is the table of contents by subject; the search box searches all articles.
- On the right, on a wide screen, is the chapter menu of the article you are reading; it follows along as you scroll.
- Some steps come with a short instruction video. If you prefer to read without videos, switch to Screenshots only at the top of the article.
Need help
- EVLyne, the chat at the bottom right of these pages, answers questions based on the FAQ and the manual. If she cannot work it out, you can send a message to a member of staff from that same chat.
- Mail support@wattify.be. Always mention the email address of your account and, if it concerns a charge point or an invoice, the name of the charge point or the invoice number.
