Completing your account after an invitation

If your account was created by Wattify, your employer, your managing agent or your installer, you received an email with the subject "Complete your account". Click the link, choose a password and sign in. The link expires after seven days; if it has expired, simply request a new password as described below.

Forgotten password

  1. On the sign-in page, click Forgot password?
  2. Enter your email address and submit the form. Within a few minutes you will receive an email with the subject "Wachtwoord Resetten".
  3. Click the link in that email and choose a new password. You are then signed in straight away.

The form for requesting a new password

Not getting an email? Check your spam folder and make sure you used the email address of your account. After two requests in quick succession, wait a while before trying again. The link in the email is valid for seven days.

After five failed sign-in attempts, your sign-in is temporarily blocked. Wait a minute and then try again.

Two-factor authentication

You can give your account extra protection with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or 1Password, for example). It is not compulsory.

  1. Click your name at the top right and choose Profile.
  2. Go to the Two-factor authentication (2FA) section and click Set up next to Authenticator app.
  3. Scan the QR code with your app and enter the code the app shows.
  4. Keep the recovery codes somewhere safe; they let you sign in if you lose your phone. You create new ones with Regenerate recovery codes.

The Two-factor authentication section at the bottom of your profile

When you sign in, the portal asks for the code from your app after your password. A device on which you entered the code is remembered for thirty days. You can switch it off in the same place with Disable.

Language

With the little flag at the top of the page you choose the language of the portal: Dutch, French, English, German, Spanish or Portuguese.

Signing out

Click your name at the top right and choose Sign out. Always do that on a shared computer; on your own devices you stay signed in until you sign out or until the session expires by itself.
