Customers, employers, employees, owners' associations, residents and resellers all work in the same portal. Everyone sees only what belongs to their own account. This article explains how that access fits together, without the technical detail.

The types of account

Type Who What it sees
Customer A company or private individual with one or more charge sites Their own charge sites, charge points, charge cards, sessions, invoices and payouts
Employer A company with employees who charge at home or have a company charge card Everything of their own and of their employees
Employee A member of staff of an employer Their own charge site, charge card, sessions, invoices and payouts
Owners' association The association of co-owners of a building, usually through the managing agent The charge sites of the building and the consumption of the residents
Resident A resident with their own charge point in the building Their own charge point, charge cards, sessions and invoices; never those of the neighbours
Reseller An installer or partner who looks after customers All the customers they set up, and they can sign in as any of them
Administrator A second sign-in that you create Exactly the same as you

How access comes about

You do not have to arrange access yourself. Wattify sets it up at the moment something is created: whoever registers a charge site sees it; an employer sees the home charge point of the employee they created; a reseller sees the customers they set up. A charge site always belongs to one owner.

Several organisations

Employers, resellers and owners' associations see an organisation menu at the top right. If you belong to several organisations, as the managing agent of several buildings for instance, that is where you switch between them. That menu also contains Organization profile, with the name and the members of the organisation, and Roles. An ordinary customer does not have this menu.

Giving someone else access

Would you like a colleague, accountant or business owner to look in? Then create an administrator under Users: they get the same access as you, with a password of their own. See Managing users: employees, administrators and residents. There is no button to share one specific charge site or invoice with someone.

Something is missing

Do you not see a charge site, charge point, charge card or invoice that you expected, or is an organisation missing from your menu? Mail support@wattify.be with the email address of your account and what is missing. Wattify will then grant the access.
